What platforms is GTA 6 coming to

On November 19, 2026 GTA 6 launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Nothing else: there is no PC version at launch, the previous console generation is skipped entirely, and no mobile version exists.

Why there is no PS4 or Xbox One version
This is the first time Rockstar skips a whole generation. The reason is technical: the game is built around a fast SSD and 16 GB of memory, while the PS4 has a mechanical hard drive and 8 GB for everything. GTA 5 did it the other way round — it shipped on PS3 and got ported forward — but that game had neither these load times nor this density of world.
Series S, PS5 Slim, Pro and the digital editions
All of these are the same generation, and the game runs on every one of them: Series S is the junior Xbox Series model, Slim and Pro are still PS5, and the digital editions differ only in having no disc drive. The difference will be in image quality, not in whether the game starts. Rockstar has not announced separate PS5 Pro enhancements.
PC, mobile and cloud
The PC version is not announced; going by Rockstar’s track record the port arrives one to two years after consoles — the full reasoning is on its own page. There is no mobile version and none has been announced: anything offering a “GTA 6 for Android” download is a scam — I’ve picked apart how those fake APKs and “early access” pages work on a separate page. Rockstar has said nothing about cloud services or subscriptions either.
