GTA 6 release date — November 19, 2026

Short version: GTA 6 comes out on Thursday, November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no PC version at launch — I go into when to expect one separately.
The date is official, confirmed by Rockstar, and — more telling than any statement — pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026. That is about as solid a signal as this industry gives you: nobody starts taking money up front while the studio is still nervous about the schedule.
The delay history
The date moved twice, and both times the community took it badly:
